Sierra Entertainment
Sierra On-Line, later Sierra Entertainment, was a developer and publisher of many games - especially adventure titles - through the 1980s and 1990s.
In particular, they were infamous for the screens accompanying player death sequences, and for it becoming something of a meme.
These days, the rights to Sierra's games are held by Activision (and ultimately, Microsoft)
